Back in 2007 we saw the Shelbys Supercar hit a top speed of 256.18 miles per hour. Once that record was set it was up to other car companies to beat it. This record was beaten shortly after by the Bugatti Veyron Sport which posted a top speed of 267.81 miles per hour. With that new record it only meant that something more powerful and faster had to be created.

This is where the SSC Ultimate Aero II Supercar steps in with an expected top speed to be at around 275 mph. This is due to the 6.8 liter V8 that it has which produces an amazing 1,350 horsepower. This years Paris Motor Show is getting closer and closer and with that we can already see car companies teasing their consumers with pictures of a portion of their new car models. Today we can see two sets of pictures. The first set is from car company Peugot which is teasing it’s new mystery concept car while the second set is from Lamborghinis new model, the Jota. While the Lamborghini teaser picture doesn’t really give you much to work with we can see Peugot give a couple better teaser pics.

Cars are always getting modded and upgraded but this time around we get to see the famous Ford F-150 get an upgrade. This is the 2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor SuperCrew and features many nice changes which not only make the truck look better but perform better as well.

Under the hood we can see 5.4 liter V8 get upped to a 6.2 liter v8 which now produces 411 horsepower. This makes the raptor the most powerful half-ton pick up truck currently on the market. They also made the fuel tank bigger to hold 36 gallons. The suspension was also changed and they even buffed up the inside with some nice gadgets. The 2011 Bentley Continental GT is not supposed to be revealed yet for a couple more days but it seems that the guys over at LeftLane managed to get some spy shots of the car. Now there still is a slight bit of camo on the car but it’s just a tiny part that is covered.As you can see there where a couple changes made to the car some of which include the tail lights as well as the front and rear bumper.

Today we get to take a look at some nice detailed shots of the 2011 BMW M5. Although they still have some coverings on the car we can see that they removed a significant amount. For the 2011 model of their M5 many thought that they would see a V10 placed into the car but they are actually sticking by a twin turbocharged V8. No other information on the engine has been given but you can expect it to produce a nice amount of power. Also make sure to check out the rest of the pictures below.

Every year car manufacturers are creating new models in their series or redesigning old ones. From Lotus we can see the Evora get an upgrade to the Evora S. Under the hood we can see a 345 hp 3.5L Toyota sourced V6. This gives the car a 0-60 time of only 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 172 mph.

As for the goodies on the inside we can see a sport button which gives the driver more control over the throttle response. The button also gives the car a higher rev limiter and activates an exhaust bypass valve. We don’t have details on a price yet but expect to be paying a lot for the new Lotus Evora S.

A while ago there had been rumors of plans to build a 1 Series M car. At the time BMW said there was no such thing in production. Over the past couple of months though we have been seeing teaser pictures of the car. The reasoning behind creating an M1 is due to the fact the M3’s and higher are pretty expensive cars so the M1 gives you a more affordable option in the M series.

You can expect the pricing to be around 5-10 thousand dollars cheaper then the average M3. You still get the nice M packages though as the car has a twin turbocharged straight six engine which pushes out 350 horsepower. You can check out some pictures as well as the teaser video below.

With all the 2011 models getting the attention here we have a 2012 model of the Mercedes Benz CLS. Although they won’t be releasing for some time now it’s always nice to see a preview of whats to come. No more information was made available except for a picture but as you know Mercedes is known to put some power behind their cars as well as add some very nice interiors.

A couple of days ago we saw some pictures of the 2012 McLaren MP4-12C and today we finally have some official pricing as well as some detailed pictures. This McLaren is set to be priced between $225,000 to $250,000. Under the hood it features a 3.8 liter V8 which pushes out 600 horsepower and 440 pound per feet of torque. This is definitely going to be a fast car and it’s been stated that not only will it be fast but it will be easy to drive as well. Recently Chrysler put out a preview picture of their police modded version of their 2011 Dodge Challenger. At the time only one picture was made available but now we have some nice detailed shots of the car so we actually know what it will look like.
