Today we get to take a look at some nice detailed shots of the 2011 BMW M5. Although they still have some coverings on the car we can see that they removed a significant amount. For the 2011 model of their M5 many thought that they would see a V10 placed into the car but they are actually sticking by a twin turbocharged V8. No other information on the engine has been given but you can expect it to produce a nice amount of power. Also make sure to check out the rest of the pictures below.

Every year car manufacturers are creating new models in their series or redesigning old ones. From Lotus we can see the Evora get an upgrade to the Evora S. Under the hood we can see a 345 hp 3.5L Toyota sourced V6. This gives the car a 0-60 time of only 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 172 mph.

As for the goodies on the inside we can see a sport button which gives the driver more control over the throttle response. The button also gives the car a higher rev limiter and activates an exhaust bypass valve. We don’t have details on a price yet but expect to be paying a lot for the new Lotus Evora S.

A while ago there had been rumors of plans to build a 1 Series M car. At the time BMW said there was no such thing in production. Over the past couple of months though we have been seeing teaser pictures of the car. The reasoning behind creating an M1 is due to the fact the M3’s and higher are pretty expensive cars so the M1 gives you a more affordable option in the M series.

You can expect the pricing to be around 5-10 thousand dollars cheaper then the average M3. You still get the nice M packages though as the car has a twin turbocharged straight six engine which pushes out 350 horsepower. You can check out some pictures as well as the teaser video below.

With all the 2011 models getting the attention here we have a 2012 model of the Mercedes Benz CLS. Although they won’t be releasing for some time now it’s always nice to see a preview of whats to come. No more information was made available except for a picture but as you know Mercedes is known to put some power behind their cars as well as add some very nice interiors.

A couple of days ago we saw some pictures of the 2012 McLaren MP4-12C and today we finally have some official pricing as well as some detailed pictures. This McLaren is set to be priced between $225,000 to $250,000. Under the hood it features a 3.8 liter V8 which pushes out 600 horsepower and 440 pound per feet of torque. This is definitely going to be a fast car and it’s been stated that not only will it be fast but it will be easy to drive as well. Recently Chrysler put out a preview picture of their police modded version of their 2011 Dodge Challenger. At the time only one picture was made available but now we have some nice detailed shots of the car so we actually know what it will look like. The current Nissan GT-R’s are already amazing cars but for their 2012 model they decided to make a couple improvements to it. They added lighter forged wheels, improved aerodynamics, LED running lights, some interior upgrades, new exterior color options as well as more power. They also improved the downforce by 10% as well as the coefficient of drag from .272 to .268.

Many years have passed since Top Gear started filming their shows. One of their famous characters on the show was their driver named The Stig. He always wore a helmet so you could never tell who he was. From what I know of they never revealed it on the show but due to some recent financial reports of his company he has been revealed.

The Stig is a former Formula Three driver by the name of Ben Collins. There is said to be more then one Stig though so he could just be from a couple of shows. You can check out an excerpt from the legal dispute below as well:

“According to the media reports in 2010, The Stig is in a legal dispute with the BBC producers over the right to reveal his identity and publish an autobiography. Both sides called in their lawyers and the current situation is described by insiders as “incredibly tense”. If the matter is not resolved before the next season of the show, it may lead to The Stig’s retirement from the show or cause a delay in production. This situation confirms that he indeed has “contractual and confidentiality obligations” to the BBC2 programme. The matter may also lead to an “embarrassing” court battle.”

Hit and runs happen all the time. Sometimes they get away but other times they are so desperate to get away that they simply make things worse. That’s the case with the driver in this video as he only makes things worse for himself. Surprisingly the onlookers seem to be more angry then the driver who just got crashed into. Car manufacturers are always up to something and as Aston Martins most recent project we can see them working on a extremely limited Super Sport. Only 8 units are said to be produced and they will be priced at 7.5 million Euros or 9.6 million USD. This supercar will feature a carbon fiber bodywork and a 5.4 liter V8 engine. The engine will probably push out around 800 to 900 horsepower.
